Hey friends! For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Liz — but in the bagel world, I’m known as Izzy, the bagel maker behind Izzy’s Bagels LLC.

Izzy’s Bagels first started in my home kitchen in Northern California during Covid. What began as a fun project — making bagels for family and friends — quickly grew into weekly orders and local demand. When farmers markets reopened, I brought my bagels to the community and before long, a storefront was in sight.

​

In 2022, I was lucky enough to open my brick-and-mortar shop in my hometown. Unfortunately, a failing roof brought that dream to a sudden halt in spring 2023. Not sure what was next, I moved to the Portland area to start fresh. After a couple of years and many conversations with my partner and friends, my heart led me back to what I love most: bagels.

Now, Izzy’s Bagels LLC is back and thriving in Oregon! My mission is simple: bring the community the freshest, highest-quality bagels possible. I never use preservatives or chemicals — just wholesome ingredients, fresh fruit, and the kind of care that makes a bagel taste homemade. Food should be real, fresh, and something you can feel good about sharing with the people you love.

You’ll always find my four classics — Plain, Everything, Jalapeño Cheddar, and Blueberry — but don’t be fooled, I’ve got plenty more recipes up my sleeve that rotate into the markets. You can find us at local farmers markets as well as order directly from me.
